Virtue is a part of the game's Alignment system and the counterpart to Condemnation. The two are measured with a single score in the game engine, with negative values showing as Virtue and positive values showing as Condemnation.
Obtainment[]
Can be obtained through performing Good deeds. Virtue from Items, Backgrounds, or the Torch Dragon do not affect the Virtue Obsession.
Secrets[]
- A number of Secrets allow gaining of Virtue[1]:
- War of Mortals, choosing "Urge a stop to the war" gives 1-2 Virtue.
- Plagues wreak havoc, choosing "Cure the patients" after reaching Divine State gives 1-2 Virtue.
- Evils in the World, choosing "Use strategy" gives 2-3 Virtue.
- Sudden Disaster, choosing "Help the people" gives 1-2 Virtue.
Items[]
- Consuming an Insight Fruit adds 64 Virtue[2].
- An active Morality Seal adds 25 Virtue if a Character is in the same room[3].
Backgrounds[]
- Having the "Virtuous" Background adds 20 Virtue.[4]
Torch Dragon[]
- Fighting the Torch Dragon can greatly affect Condemnation, both during the fight and afterwards if the eyes are destroyed[5].
Effects[]
- Slightly reduces Tribulation difficulty
- Allows the obtainment of an Obsession.
