A Vessel is a puppet crafted out of a Material that can have life imbued into it to do Peon work.

Vessels are fast and have no needs, making them excellent for dragging items across the map and cleaning. However, they have limited durability, after which the physical Vessel is lost, requiring a new one to be crafted and ensouled.

They can be part of the player's Sect, but can not be controlled, making them Non-Playable-Characters, or NPCs.

Note: Vessels are limited to one per Inner Disciple.

Crafting[]

Vessels can be crafted out of 150 raw material at a Handcraft Station.

The Tier of the crafting material directly correlates with the Tier and, thereby, the abilities of the resulting Vessel.

Upgrading[]

A vessel's ability to perform is dependent on its Tier when ensouled[1]. It is highly advisable to use high tier materials when crafting and to upgrade the Vessel further with Specter Refinement before performing Ensoulment.

The Durability of a Vessel (in seconds) is 6000+600*Tier². After this timer expires, the Vessel dies and cannot be repaired, a new Vessel must be ensouled.

The Movement Speed of a Vessel (in m/s) is 6+Tier*2.

Tier Durability (days) Move speed (m/s)
1 11 8
2 14 10
3 19 12
4 26 14
5 35 16
6 46 18
7 59 20
8 74 22
9 91 24
10 110 26
11 131 28
12 154 30

A Tier 12 Spirit Stone Block Vessel has:

  • move speed of 30.0m/s
  • durability of 92400 seconds (154 days or 1.375 in-game years)

Life, Work and Death[]

Life[]

Soulless Spirit Stone Vessel

After being crafted, vessels are empty vessels without soul. An Inner Disciple must endow one with a soul, such as with Ensoulment (Miracle), for it to come alive.

Work[]

A Vessel sweeping up with a broom

Sweeping

A Vessel has no needs or distractions like dreams or relationships: it is the ultimate workhorse for moving around stacks of goods and sweeping up afterwards.

Death[]

Being buried

Vessels' physical bodies eventually degrade to the point of the Vessel dying. No need for despair: you may simply perform the above steps again to get a new one up and running.

Note: Vessels can be buried, but doing so does not grant positive Sect Alignment, nor does it increase the Fertility of the surrounding area.[2]

Mods[]

Undying Vessel is a Mod by Macros, available on Workshop (link).

It makes your vessels stop losing durability, making them undying.
