True Qi

True Qi is the Physical Cultivator version of Qi. Unlike Qi, it cannot be used to attack or defend directly, but is instead consumed by equipped Secret Bodies or Artifact Suppression. Secret Bodies with higher number of Remolds tend to consume more True Qi per second.

Uses

• Maintaining active Secret Bodies, each of which consumes True Qi at its listed cost per second.
• Casting the special ability of each Secret Body, which consumes twice its cost per second plus 500 True Qi.
• Artifact Suppression. A suppressed artifact results in the True Qi of the physical cultivator being drained by each suppressed artifact, equal to the artifact owner's Artifact Mastery Skill Level multiplied by the physical cultivator's Consumption Rate of Suppression Property per second. If this results in True Qi falling to zero, the artifacts are released and are no longer suppressed.

Generating True Qi

True Qi can be generated by a variety of Secret Body Labels as well as certain activated Secret Bodies.

Increasing Max True Qi

Unlike Qi, True Qi cannot be increased using the Physical Cultivator's Properties, as Max True Qi can only be modified with Remolding.

Recovery Mode

When True Qi falls to zero during combat, the Cultivator is forced into Recovery Mode. This is an action that cannot be cancelled, which results in the Physical Cultivator being unable to engage in combat for that duration.

When this happens, they receive the following debuffs:

• -95% Global Secret Body Power (Percent) (AddV)
• -95% Global Secret Body Endurance (Percent) (AddV)
• -95% Global Secret Body Accuracy (Percent) (AddV)
• -95% Global Secret Body Defense Rate (Percent) (AddV)

During this time, the Recovery Mode True Qi Recovery Rate increases their True Qi by that percentage per second, in addition to their regular True Qi Recovery. However, if their True Qi consumption is still too high, this results in them being permanently stuck in Recovery Mode. The only way to exit this mode is to reduce True Qi consumption or exit combat.
