Timely Rain is a Miracle that allows a Xiandao Cultivator to magically summon rain to a specific location, at a cost of some Qi.
Obtainment[]
The Miracle can be found in the "Timely Rain" Orthodox Manual from Sixteen Supreme Steps Law.
Cost[]
This Miracle costs 1000 Qi[1].
Possible Targets[]
Any explored Terrain tile (not within fog of war) which a Character can walk on. This means tiles such as Deep Water cannot be used as targets.
Effects[]
The Miracle has the following effects[2]:
- The caster enters the flying animation
- A rain cloud appears within 4 tiles Square Range from the targeted area (9x9 square)
- All fires are put out within the rain cloud's area
- All plants within the area receive a 50% magical growth speed bonus (multiplicative over all other growth speed sources) for 2400 seconds (4 days). If the Miracle is cast while another magical Plant growth bonus is active, it improves the buff if the buff power is greater, and it extends the buff if the buff duration is greater[3]. For example:
- If the Plant currently has a 10% growth bonus and a duration remaining of 5000 seconds, the bonus is set to 50% for 5000 seconds.
- If the Plant currently has a 2000% growth bonus and a duration remaining of 20 seconds, the bonus is set to 2000% for 2400 seconds.
- Once all Plant Growth Miracles are obtained, Rainchant cast after Botanic Revitalization provides the best bonuses, since they have the highest duration and growth bonus respectively. This is very useful for growing rare plants such as Spirit Roots or Huge Ginkgo Tree.
- All sleeping Characters within the area are woken up[4].
