This is a short guide to Talismans that are useful for beginners to draw, focusing on the ones that are available early and generally useful. (e.g. no Shendao-related Divinity talismans.) See the Talisman page for a full list of which talismans do what and where to obtain their drawing patterns.

Inners[]

Adventuring[]

  • Invisibility - reduces Reputation gained from some events. High Reputation means getting attacked by tougher enemies! Wear one of these when going to the Kunlun competition in particular.
  • Spiritual Travelling - move speed, adventure speed. Better than Agility. Every disciple can benefit from one of these, outer and inner.
  • Departing Shadow - explore world faster. Stack a pair of these on a dedicated inner disciple to find locations.
  • Talisman of Foreseer - due to the adventure exploration speed it gives being rounded down, the effect only starts from  Sacred Talisman (T5+), so only equip those once you have Talismans of the correct tier.
  • Cold-resistant Talisman or Talisman of Supreme Yang (better) : Useful for adventures in cold places like The Great Snowland

Cultivating[]

Outers[]

  • Spiritual Travelling - move speed, better than Agility. Every disciple can benefit from one of these, outer and inner.
  • Diligence - increases work efficiency. Good for your outer disciples to have.
  • Spiritual Cleansing and Fasting Talisman - reduces need for sleep and food. Good for your outer disciples to have, so they can spend more time working. Once you get into Specter Refining of talisman paper, these can eliminate the need for sleep and food entirely.
