The Spring Festival Minion is a Character that randomly appears in the Player Sect. When it appears, a 
Firecracker or 
Processed Firecracker should be used (right click while equipped in inventory) on its location to make it drop 1-3 
Festive Goods at random[1]. If this is not done, it will walk across the map and disappear in a couple of minutes.
Encountering[]
The Spring Festival Minion is a random spawn and cannot normally be triggered in game.
It can be manually spawned using MODModifier by activating Event 23 "Strange Little Elf".
Interaction[]
The Spring Festival Minion cannot be interacted with in any way except through the firecrackers described above.
It is therefore important to purchase one Firecracker from the Merchant as soon as possible, otherwise the rewards will be unobtainable. Since Festive Goods drop Firecrackers, only one will need to be purchased unless the store of Firecrackers is used up for other purposes.
Once the firecrackers have been activated and the Festive Goods have been dropped, the Spring Festival Minion will quickly run towards the edge of the map and disappear. Using additional firecrackers has no effect[1].
