Spirit Soul Gems are Soul Gems that are produced when Soul Chant is cast on happy characters.
Obtainment[]
Unlike Anguish Soul Gems, Spirit Soul Gems do not drop automatically on death no matter the auspiciousness of the room. Instead, they have to be obtained through the following methods:
Soul Chant (Miracle)[]
Soul Chant can be used on happy Mortals to extract Serenity Soul Gems. An easy way to get them happy is to cast Panacea on them 5 times, followed by Reconstruction (Miracle).
The type of Soul Gem received depends on the Mood of the Character, as well as whether the Character is a Sentient Spirit[1]. A character that has been Soul Chanted does not drop a second Soul Gem if they also die in a Hell Gate[2].
- Depending on the Mood of the Character, one of the below Soul Gems[1]. Only the first successful roll will result in a drop:
- First roll: 1
Anguish Soul Gem with 100% chance at 0 Mood or below, and 0% chance at 100 Mood or above. - Second roll: 1
Spirit Soul Gem with 100% chance at 100 Mood or above, and 0% chance at 0 Mood or below. - Otherwise: 1 Serenity Soul Gem
- First roll: 1
Feeding a corpse to Blessed Spirit Roots[]
A Blessed Spirit Root will produce a number of 
Spirit Soul Gems and 
Serenity Soul Gems after being nurtured with a corpse. The higher the Cultivation Level, the more soul gems will be dropped.
