Qi Absorption Efficiency influences the rate at which Food and Water are gained automatically from the environment. This does not require Qi. Having a sufficiently high Qi Absorption Efficiency compared to Food Consumption Bonus and Water Consumption Bonus means eating and drinking is no longer necessary for the Character.
It should not be confused with the similarly named Qi Absorption Speed Bonus, which is involved in Qi Recovery instead.
Talisman of Qi Absorption increases this.
