Origins come in six varieties: one for each of the (conventional) Five Elements and one of None (Element).
Effects[]
- Reduce Attainment by a random number between 10 and 29 for a maximum of seven times (37-108 total). Each subsequent use reduces the effectiveness by 15%. This does not affect Base Attainment[1].
- At the 8th refining, the cultivator obtains a Sub-Spirit but does not reduce Attainment. Subsequent uses consume the Origin with no effect[1].
- Failing to refine the Origin results in a Soul type injury to the Brain between 0 and 75% of total hitpoints, as well as receiving 10-29 points of Condemnation.
Obtainment[]
- Can be Traded from Sects and Merchants or bid on at Auctions.
- Can be obtained from "home grown" Spirit Roots by nurturing them with various Elemental Fruits.
- Can be obtained from Mt. Hundred Insects and Daemonia Temple as Tribute after conquering them.
Requirements[]
The Cultivator must practice a Law of the same Element as the Origin, and must have reached the final Cultivation Level of Primordial Spirit or Demigod (12th Cultivation Level), or the Cultivator will be immediately killed.
Note: The Cultivator should have at least 300 Base Attainment to avoid failing and receiving a Brain Injury.
Risk of Failure[]
The risk of failure is 100% below 150 Base Attainment, which falls to 0% at 300 Base Attainment.
