Miao is a Pet tortoise exclusive to Immortal Tales of WuDang(DLC).

He has two "artifact" cores, a Yang Core (Fire) and a Yin Core (Water) that he uses for attacking. However he moves much slower than other pets, e.g., 
Huajuan, and seems to prefer to attack from range (and will actively try to keep distance from enemies) as opposed to a tank like some other Pets.
Obtaining[]
To obtain Miao, you'll first need to get 1200 Favor with the Wudang Sect.
Once you have the required Favor, you will need to send one of your Cultivators on Adventures to the Wu Dang Sect Headquarters and repeat these Adventures until one of the events has the extra option "Visit the sect leader". Choose this option and you will be rewarded with a
Black Tortoise Jade.
Inspect/Rub this jade at your sect and Miao will be summoned to your sect at which point you can adopt him like the other pets and he will be recruited.

Abilities[]
- Refine: Black Tortoise absorbs nutrition from food more efficiently, converting impurities into
Spirit Stone, instead of Feces for regular Pets[1]. (Requires: N/A) - Natural Soil: Turns an area into Spirit Soil at the cost of their own growth and nutrition. However, water nearby will become normal water (Requires: 100 Qi to unlock)
- Heavenly Block: Delays an ally character's Shapeshifting Tribulation at the cost of their own lifespan (Requires: Reach 50 Spirituality to unlock). It extends the Tribulation by 5 days at the cost of 20 Lifespan[2][3].
- Peaceful Breath: Use on an ally character so they won't need food, water or sleep for 3 days, however their movement will become slow (Requires: Reach Adulthood to unlock)
- Dark Wave: Restores 240 qi to the target (Requires: N/A)
- Liberty Form: Exposes the Auxiliary of enemy's Formation (Requires: Major Curse)
- Turtle Form: Increases allies' Formation stability and grants one Formation Energy. Can only be used on Formations in battle (Requires: Major Blessing)
- Conquest Breach: Significantly decrease one enemy's Qi Barrier and Secret Body Endurance (Requires: Moderate Curse)
- Darkarmour Shield: Greatly improves the strength of a friendly Qi Barrier and Toughness of it's Secret Body (Requires: Moderate Blessing)
- Celestial Flame: Deals 150 Qi Damage to a target (Requires: Minor Curse)
