Kunlun Competition

The Kunlun Competition is a yearly Adventure event starting on 7th Spring. It's a cross-Sect competition that consists of five different categories with unique rewards. Winning grants a large amount of Sect Reputation, along with its potential repercussions.

Note: The competition is only available for the first disciple that arrives, even if multiple disciples arrive during the week the competition is available.

Participation

The competition categories feature different Attributes/Skills required, and provides various rewards for winning these categories. If undesired, the Reputation gain can be reduced by equipping a Talisman of Invisibility before Adventuring to Kunlun Palace.

Golden Core (and above)

Golden Core or higher state disciples can participate in the competition itself for prizes. Higher Luck and Cultivation stage help in all categories.

Core Shaping (and below)

Core Shaping and lower state disciples can instead observe to get +1 skill level based on their category of choice.

Farming Skill Levels

It is possible to attend the event with the same Inner Disciple several times, reliably increasing skill levels. Considering the event only happens once a year, however, makes the proposition impractical at best.

Qi Sense

Observing the debate category is one of the limited ways of improving Qi Sense skill level.

Debate

The debate is linked to Cultivation Level, Intelligence and Luck.

Join the debate

With an Intelligence of 6 or less, the cultivator automatically loses and obtains 25,000 base Inspiration points.

In order to win, the cultivator must pass a check of $\frac{(CultivationLevel-6)*2+INT+LCK - 15}{20}$%. As an example, a Primordial Spirit with a Cultivation Level of 12 and 10 Luck and Intelligence would have:

((12 [Cultivation Level] - 6) * 2 + 10 [Intelligence] + 10 [Luck] - 15)/20 = 0.85 = 85% chance to win

In case of victory, the reward is:

• Tao Principles (cape)
•  Jade Purity Immortal Law if not already obtained, otherwise 1  Eureka Pill
• Reputation based on Cultivation Level:
  • 2000 Reputation and "True · Kunlun Creed" Title if at Golden Core
  • 500 Reputation and "Kunlun Creed" Title if at Primordial Spirit

Losing (with Intelligence of 7 or more) awards 90,000 base Inspiration points and 100 Reputation.

Crafting Contest

The Crafting Contest is linked to Cultivation Level, Artifact Crafting and Luck.

Participate in the contest

With an Artifact Crafting Skill Level of 14 or less, the cultivator automatically loses and obtains 25,000 base Inspiration points.

In order to win, the cultivator must pass a check of $\frac{(CultivationLevel-6)*2+ArtifactCrafting+LCK - 24}{20}$%. The chance of winning is 90% at 12 Cultivation level, maximum stats and 20 Artifact Crafting. It can be boosted to 100% with 22 Artifact Crafting.

In case of victory, the reward is:

• Fortune (cape)
•  Myriad Artifact Law if not already obtained, otherwise 1 random T12 Artifact of 95% quality
• Reputation based on Cultivation Level:
  • 2000 Reputation and "True · Kunlun Craftsman" Title if at Golden Core
  • 500 Reputation and "Kunlun Craftsman" Title if at Primordial Spirit

Losing (with Artifact Crafting of 15 or more) awards 90,000 base Inspiration points and 100 Reputation.

Alchemy Contest

The Alchemy Contest is linked to Cultivation Level, Alchemy and Luck.

Participate in the contest

With an Alchemy Skill Level of 14 or less, the cultivator automatically loses and obtains 25,000 base Inspiration points.

In order to win, the cultivator must pass a check of $\frac{(CultivationLevel-6)*2+ Alchemy +LCK - 24}{20}$%. The chance of winning is 90% at 12 Cultivation level, maximum stats and 20 Alchemy. It can be boosted to 100% with 22 Alchemy.

In case of victory, the reward is:

• Dan Xi (cape)
•  Primordial Alchemy Law if not already obtained, otherwise 3  Panacea Pill
• Reputation based on Cultivation Level:
  • 2000 Reputation and "True · Kunlun Master Alchemist" Title if at Golden Core
  • 500 Reputation and "Kunlun Master Alchemist" Title if at Primordial Spirit

The chance of winning is 90% at maximum stats and 20 Alchemy. It can be boosted to 100% at 22 or more Alchemy.

Losing (with Alchemy of 15 or more) awards 90,000 base Inspiration points and 100 Reputation.

Sword Duel

The Sword Duel is linked to Cultivation Level, Artifact Mastery and Luck.

Participate in the duel

With an Artifact Mastery Skill Level of 14 or less, the cultivator automatically loses and obtains 25,000 base Inspiration points.

In order to win, the cultivator must pass a check of $\frac{(CultivationLevel-6)*2+ ArtifactMastery +LCK - 24}{20}$%. The chance of winning is 90% at 12 Cultivation level, maximum stats and 20 Artifact Mastery. It can be boosted to 100% with 22 Artifact Mastery.

In case of victory, the reward is:

• Bu Ying (cape)
•  Seven-Slaughtering Sword if not already obtained, otherwise 1  Eureka Pill
• Reputation based on Cultivation Level:
  • 2000 Reputation and "True · Kunlun Swordsman" Title if at Golden Core
  • 500 Reputation and "Kunlun Swordsman" Title if at Primordial Spirit

Losing (with Artifact Mastery of 15 or more) awards 90,000 base Inspiration points and 100 Reputation.

In order to win, the cultivator must pass a check of $\frac{(CultivationLevel-6)*2+ Spell +LCK - 24}{20}$%. The chance of winning is 90% at 12 Cultivation level, maximum stats and 20 Spell. It can be boosted to 100% with 22 Spell.

In case of victory, the reward is:

• Zhou Flow (cape)
•  Emotion Severing Law if not already obtained, otherwise 1  Eureka Pill
