Epiphany

An Epiphany is the Manual or bonus that gets attached to Sub-Spirit Gear when attaching Sub-Spirits. To attach Epiphanies, the cultivator needs to be a Xiandao at the Primordial Spirit Cultivation Stage and possess enough Sub-Spirits to attach to the Item.

Type[]

Epiphanies have distinct types, and the cultivator needs to fulfill certain requirements to be able to attach certain types of Epiphanies. This is usually related to their skill level in a Xiandao Skill, or their bonuses for certain Properties. The Type of the Epiphany also influences which type of Manual can be attached.

Epiphanies themselves have kinds, which determines their type and in which subsection of the menu they'll appear^[1].

Sub-Spirit State Requirement[]

The Epiphanies's power depend upon Sub-Spirit State requirement In order to infuse an Epiphany of a given State, the Cultivator must have performed sufficient Sub-Spirit attachments for that State. For Manual Epiphanies, the level is based on the base Attainment cost of the Manual.

Epiphany List[]

Depending on the type of the Epiphany to be attached, the Cultivator in question must have, in additional to the base requirements^[2]:

If attaching a Skill Level Epiphany, the Character's base unmodified Skill Level after attachment must be greater than the number of Skill Levels attached.
If attaching a Property, the Character's current Property AddP or AddV modifier must be greater than the bonus attached.
If attaching a Manual, the Character must have learned that Manual.

Epiphanies which are from a Manual do not stack with each other nor with the learned Manual, whereas Epiphanies which increase Skill Level or a Property do stack with each other^[3]. For example:

A cultivator who has already learned Killing Intent I does not receive the bonus from a Sub-Spirit Gear infused with Killing Intent I
A cultivator who has already learned Killing Intent I receives the bonus from a Sub-Spirit Gear infused with Killing Intent II (as these are distinct Manuals)
A cultivator who has not learned Killing Intent I and equips two pieces of Sub-Spirit Gear infused with Killing Intent I receives only one bonus.
A cultivator can equip multiple Sub-Spirit Gear infused with the same Skill Level or Property bonuses with no issues and receive all of them.
